Rescue Horse Rehabilitation

Our rescue horse rehabilitation program is the foundation of why we do what we do at NWESC.  Our goal is to bring together the professional horse community to provide rehabilitation services for rescue horses and educational opportunities for vet and vet tech students.  We encourage local veterinarians, farriers, trainers, massage therapists, animal control officers, rescue organization representatives, etc to come to our monthly meetings and get involved!

Check out our rescue stories to see how we have helped horses in our community.  We provide dental floats, castrations, recovery from emaciation, wound management, bodywork (acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, physical therapy), hoof care, training, TLC and more.

Horse Professionals

Our goal is to provide a central location for horse professionals (veterinarians, farriers, trainers, etc) to discount and donate their services for rescue horses.  We also encourage horse professionals to help with our educational programs to teach upcoming horse professionals.  We encourage horse professionals to come together and talk about the state of our local horse industry and to work towards the resolution of unwanted horses, cruelty, and neglect through community service.

We want to want to thank local horse professionals who have started this network by helping the horses at NWESC.

Horse Rescue

NWESC works with a number of local non-profit horse rescue organizations.

Our goal is to network with these groups and work together towards creating an efficient system of taking in, rehabilitating, and adopting out rescue horses.  We also strive to support county animal control agencies in Washington state through our programs
