4-year old, 15.2H, Bay Appendix Quarter Horse mare
Cricket was born into the rescue life. She was the foal of a pregnant mare that was rescued from the kill pen and subsequently turned into Dr. Hannah’s special rescue project. However, Cricket desires and deserves more one-on-one time than what Dr. Hannah can give her.
Cricket has had extensive professional ground work training and is just being started under saddle. While extremely receptive and a lovely mover, Cricket has been a bit slow to progress in her training because of her dominant mare personality type. While she is dominant in the herd, she is also used to being turned out with a variety of horses and ponies.
Cricket needs a confident rider with ample time to spend with her. She would be the perfect horse for an advanced rider who wants to do dressage and trail riding, however due to her conformation she would not be suitable to use for regular jumping or high impact work.
Cricket’s adoption fee is $750
All potential adopters must complete an adoption application, reference check and site visit prior to a horse being adopted.
NWESC has a strict no breeding policy.
